With the start of the year racing ahead, we find ourselves already facing the much anticipated Easterbreak. We at Magnitude Security would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a safe and happy Easter.

We have included some holiday tips and tricks to ensure the Easter and school holiday period is a safe and secure time for your business and family.
Holiday Security Hints and Tips
- Contact Magnitude Security’s Control Room to let them know that you will be away and when you are going to return.
- Tell a few neighbours that you can trust that you will be away so they can keep an eye on your home while you are gone.
- Advise the Police before leaving that your house will be unoccupied.
- Cancel your usual deliveries (eg milk/papers). Nothing says ‘I’m away’ like newspapers piling up at the front gate/door.
- Organise to have your mail collected by a friend/relative or held at the Post Office.
- Collect spare keys you may have hidden outside and put them in a safe place.
- Consider installing some timer switches so that lights or radios etc will come on automatically to make it appear that someone is home.
- Check to make certain that all windows are closed and those fitted with locks have been key-locked. Ensure all exterior doors have been locked and deadlocked.
- Make sure that your alarm is turned on and that your ‘Magnitude Security’ monitoring stickers are clearly visible to those outside.

New Faces at Magnitude Security
As we mentioned at the beginning of this newsletter, Magnitude Security has been undergoing a period of growth that has seen some new faces appear in the team at Magnitude Security. Joining Brian and Niomi in the Management Team, we welcome Steve Hellyer to the role of Sales Manager. Steve has a vast knowledge of all aspects of security systems having years of experience working in Control Rooms, installing systems and supervising Technician Teams. We believe he will be a great asset to Magnitude Security.
